Sanford Hayes is hands down, one of the nastiest bass players in the southeast, constantly at
the top of his game. After started bass (self taught) at age 8, Sanford moved into his first group,
Soul System of Lawton, Oklahoma, Over the years, Sanford has performed with many bands
throughout Oklahoma and Texas, including Bill Tillman (Blood Sweat & Tears), Emerald City,
Dallas Brass & Electric, Moving Colors and Extreme Heat.
Sanford astounds crowds with his remarkable ability to keep an incredible groove with his lush
Jazz Bass tone, and when the moment calls, he can solo like no other.
